The emperor penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri) is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species and is endemic to Antarctica. Emperor penguins spend their entire lives on Antarctic ice and in its waters.It is the only animal to inhabit the open ice of Antarctica during the winter.
South Polar Skua (Stercorarius maccormicki) is a large bird that grows to 53 cm in length.The south polar skua breeds in Antarctica.
Arctic Tern (Sterna paradisaea) makes the longest migration in the world, annual round trip meet distance of 71000 kilometers. During migration they travel from Arctic circle to Antarctic region and flies back every year. In that way Arctic tern sees more day light than any other creatures on Earth, also sees two summers per year.
White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) The largest bird in Greenland, on an average has the largest wingspan of any Eagle. White-tailed Eagle is distributed from Greenland in the West, in Iceland, and from northern Europe across Asia to the Bering Strait in the East.
