  27 Special covers were released during the year 2023.

The number of special postal covers being released has significantly dropped due to the increased costs for their release . Out of the 33 approved, only 27 Special Covers were released. To maintain collector's interest, this year, the department issued numerous special cancellations marking significant national and international events, I will soon update in a new post with those special cancellations.
