The INDIA POST issued a special cancellation featuring a line sketch of s.s. Loyalty, the first ship of Scindia Steam Navigation Company Ltd. which sailed from Mumbai (then Bombay) for Europe and U.K., on 5th April, 1919 carrying passengers,there by reviving the Indian Maritime Heritage, destroyed by the British who ruled India for two centuries.
